Head Spins on rue de Seine, Paris

As I continued my gallery window gazing up rue de Seine...
I discovered an exhibition of Chasse-pot
( Galerie Vallois, 41 rue de Seine, Paris 75006)

Jean-Jules Chasse-pot's real name is Paul Rancillac
born in Paris in 1933 and died 2010.

He is known for his papier mache sculptures of heads...
petty bourgeois, soldiers, caricatures.

Chasse-pot mentions...
" as my dog is attracted to other dogs"
he is attracted to heads and the look of his peers.

  4. Rue de Seine is a great street - so much to see and do. I'm sure you've eaten at La Boissonnerie there, right?
