Thanks for the ideas. Although my specialty is not French, you have given me some thought for the next show I set up at - the Comfort, Texas show next weekend, Oct. 16 and 17. Also, just did my post on Marburger and linked to you! Have a great weekend! Ann
P.S. Oops, that comment was meant for your post on "Presentation, the French Way". I also love adding a "pinch of humor" - it catches people's eye and it's fun to see them smile as they walk through your booth!
I'm just sick I didn't realize that you were showing at Marburger. Somehow I missed that. I certainly would have made sure that we got to meet. You have such lovely things. I know the show was a great success for you. I will certainly look you up in the spring if we get to go. My niece is pregnant and due March 26th so it's not a sure thing right now.
In, at home, Frances Borzello takes the reader thru the evolution of interior paintings from 17thc into 19thc (the boom years of the interior) and beyond.
Filled with intriquing stories and beautiful photographs, it will surely have your next painting, an interior.
Awesome! You have to have a sense of humor with all of the seriousness of antique dealing! XX!
ReplyDeleteI agree Shari, I think here in US we could add a bit more French humor to our work. I often delight in the creative displays in France.
ReplyDeleteI think they are pretty fabulous! LOL! Only the French could pull this off!
ReplyDeleteThanks for cisiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteCreativity and sense of humour are too often underestimated in displays.
Great idea, now you will always remember to go back and visit this shop.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good Thursday,
Mimi
